About Me

I'm a product designer who thrives at the intersection of complex problems and thoughtful solutions. My design approach is grounded in curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to craft, whether I'm conducting usability studies, mentoring other designers, or building systems that help people work faster and help teams ship better products.

Currently, I design clinical software at DaVita Kidney Care, where I've spent the last 5 years optimizing mobile and web experiences for nephrologists managing kidney disease patients. My work focuses on streamlining workflows, improving information architecture, and creating design systems that scale across platforms. I've also mentored 47 students through their first product design projects at UC Berkeley's UX/UI design course.

How I Design

Find the right problem to solve.
I invest time upfront in research and problem framing to ensure we're building what actually matters.

Design for cognitive load, not just task completion.
In high-pressure environments, users are managing multiple priorities, time constraints, and critical decisions simultaneously. I design to reduce mental burden so they can focus on what matters.

Combine data with context.
Metrics tell you what's happening, not why. I pair quantitative data with qualitative insights to understand the full story before making decisions.

Collaborate early and often.
I bring engineers, product managers, and stakeholders into the process early. Shared understanding leads to better outcomes.

I'm always happy to talk about design. Let’s connect!
